Abstract: With a novel business mode that called "luxury + time limited + discount", the Vipshop which was founded in 2008 rushed out through the line of besiegers include Taobao, DANG, JD Mall. But after the initial success, it met with the quite slowly growth. The two founders of Hong Xiaobo and Shen Ya re-examined the business mode, made a turn from “luxury + time limited + discount” to “famous brand + discount + time limited” immediately and finally took over a space for themselves. The financial report of third quarter for year of 2012 showed that the Vipshop earned 640,000 dollars which drew the attention of whole industry. From faced with the slowly growth to huge increasing, this case describes how Vipshop made a revolution of business mode in order give some reference to B2C electronic commercial enterprise.
