Abstract: This case describes how FAW Haima Automobile Co., Ltd introduces QFD into its daily business management in order to enhance its capability of R&D and the ability of quality management at the beginning of its third start, in which the effectiveness of QFD and problems to be further probed are discussed respectively.
The case mainly focuses on the background, process and results of Haima’s QFD introduction as well as the problems that the company encountered during the project and need to explore further.
