Abstract: Fuyao Group is founded in 1987 by Cao Dewang, specialized in production of automotive safety glass and industrial technological glass, and now is the biggest in China and the world’s second largestauto glass manufacturer. Fuyao is a typical family business and has been succeeded to the second generation. This case describes social responsibility performances of Fuyao Group and Cao family, focusing on the influence of Cao family’s involvement on Fuyao Group’s social responsibility performances. This case, to some extent, reveals the relationship between family involvement, family-centered non-economic goals and corporate social responsibility.
