Abstract：Lu Xiangtian, the actual controller of a traditional elevator manufacturing company, introduced a strategic investor and invited Mr. WANG who used to be the executive of a world-famous elevator manufacturing enterprise to conduct management reform. The case shows that the company is suffering from the throes of management reform, such as, rising of opposition voices, resigning of key technical backbones, decreasing of business efficiency, dramatic declining of overall performance, etc. Facing with enormous resistance, LU Xiangtian has been plagued by the puzzles. Should he continue to change? How to change?
